From my perspective, knowledge is the key to power. This video is incredibly insightful and I think you will find it not only enlightening but entertaining as well.

It is regarding the subject of creativity (or the lack thereof) in our education system today.

Thank you for sharing that. It was very entertaining and enlightening. I agree with what he says there. Sometimes I think I allowed my gifts to be squandered by the educational system we have. Of course I didn't know what I was doing at the time, but I did allow the brainwashing to occur. I am working on a post to my blog that addresses the root problem which probably, in large part, contributes to this dysfunction.
I would love to be able to publicly (sp?) speak like that.

So glad you liked it. It is interesting to think of isn't it? He was a great speaker - very knowledgeable and very gifted.

I am trying to take that approach with our children - build up their individuality rather than hamper it.
